Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas to film a new case study for the Life is Beautiful festival. It’s a music, culinary, comedy and arts festival located downtown, Las Vegas. While on-site I was the video producer - I planned the shots, scouted locations, talked to festival-goers for feedback on our mobile app, asked if they wanted to be part of the video, and basically ensured our videographer got where he needed to go to get the best shots. It was a great experience to see a music festival in the heart of the city. The whole site had a lot of art installations, murals, and activities for festival-goers to take pictures in front of. The highlight of the event was seeing the comedian, Fred Armisen, and watching our videographer, Dan, low-key fanboy. While I was only there for a quick 48 hours, I can say it really is a beautiful festival with a diverse lineup with a lot to see, eat, and play on-site.
